Panduit will be moving the UL required markings from the bottom to the top of the terminal tongue on our #8 stud size Loose Piece and ReelSmartTM terminals. There will also be an addition of a "8" to help differentiate #8 sized terminals from closely sized #6 and #10 sizes which may help avoid misinstallation and improve convenience for installers and quality inspectors. This will raise the height 0.04", from 0.175" to 0.179", which can be done through a simple dial setting change of the CA9 or CA-800EZ applicator from E5 to F5. We have experienced issues with certain production equipment resulting in a period of downtime.
