| 10/15/2016 | E-16-010359 - Product Improvement. Dear Customer, we inform you of this process change as part of our aggressive continuous improvement efforts. The current supplier is a single source supplier and will no longer supply pre-colored raw material. To address the supply restrictions TEC is implementing supplier and process change. The current and the new raw material is PBT 30GF, however the new raw material will be colored at the molding press. The change will be managed by TEC TS16949 quality procedures. The change does not affect the fit, form and function of the connectors. The change has been validated with manufacturing and laboratory testing. An internal release based on our specifications will be executed before any parts are delivered. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field. This change is being phased-in gradually and the previous revision can remain stocked until use. | Download |
