| 01/13/2025 | P-25-027461 - Hood assembly change. Please note that we are changing the hood assembly on contacts in the attached references. The contacts are currently fitted with hood-force assembly. We have decided to change this type of assembly to a hood-crimped assembly, as is the case with the majority of our contacts, in order to standardise our assemblies. This change in assembly will not result in any reduction in performance, as the insertion and extraction forces are similar, or even in electrical performance. The plating thicknesses remain unchanged between the two configurations. This change has been approved by ASD Cert, as these contacts are EN3155 certified.
