TE’s DEUTSCH D38999 subminature circular connectors are qualified to MIL-DTL-38999 Series III: cylindrical connectors designed for highest performance capabilities in both general purpose and severe environment applications. TE DEUTSCH D38999 connectors feature an improved one-turn coupling system, utilizing a self-locking acme thread for coupling durability. Also equipped with thicker wall sections and a greater coupling surface area for improved strength and shock resistance.
These connectors are lightweight and high density, with scoop-proof contact protection and high corrosion resistance. Available in a wide range of finishes and shell materials including:
- Aluminum
- Electroless nickel
- Olive drab cadmium
- Black zinc nickel (“Class Z”)
- Nickel PTFE (“Class T”)
The cadmium-free alternatives are RoHS-compliant, feature 500-hour salt spray resistance, and offer the same superior electrical performance and temperature resistance as cadmium-plated connectors.
