The new wire holder and plug housing assembly enhancements improve wire conductor to plug contact interface by enhanced alignment and normal force, CommScope also added chamfer and thicker structure features on the rear of new wire holder to help with the assembly process. The new wire holder has thicker structure features on the rear as push surfaces for insertion of wire holder into plug housing assembly and the new wire holder has chamfer features that will help with assembly of plug shield.
