Product Change Notice

Effective DateDescription of ChangeDownload
04/29/2021P-21-020820 - Product Improvement. we decided to improve our packaging for SR4 and SR6 relays to reduce the impact of the environmental conditions during the shipment, especially the harsh conditions of humid and salty air during oversea transport. Therefore instead of placing the carton-tubes directly into the shipping box, we added a transparent plastic bag in the shipping box in which the carton-tubes are inserted, together with a small desiccant bag. No changes were made to the shipping box, the carton tubes or their orientation in the box, only the plastic bag and desiccant bag were added. In order to benefit from the improved packaging as soon as possible, all lots produced since 5th of April 2021 (calendar week 14 or date code 2114) are featuring this improved packaging design.Download
08/19/2020E-20-007708 - Manufacturing / Process Requirements. Within our continued efforts to deliver our products on time, we've made the decision to approve an additional contact rivet supplier as a second sourcDownload
04/24/2020P-20-018970 - SoC/REACH Correction & Clarification. , since September 2017 we use an adhesive, which contains SVHC BPA above REACH threshold of 0.1%. Our Statement of Compliance for the relays did not consider this fact, as it is based on a material declaration from our supplier, which turned out to be wrong. After detecting this error, since March 2020 we corrected the product compliance declaration accordingly and these are linked to the affected products on our homepages. We are working to find potential alternative adhesives, which might enable us to declare containing REACH SVHC below threshold again, but for the time being, the SoC similar to the enclosed is valid for the SR4M/D & SR6 relay series.

03/01/2020E-20-001171 - CCC certificate number.art numbers will receive a new CCC certificate number until the 31st of October 2020, as the current CCC certificates will be canceled by 1st of November 2020. The relays will keep their CCC approval mark; Only the process and responsibility of CCC conformance declarations will change, given by the Chinese Government.Download
07/19/2019E-19-011155 - As of July 15th 2019, TE Connectivitys SR6 6 pole Force Guided Relay has regained the approval to carry the China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) mark of product certification. Starting with Datecode 1930, all eligible SR6 Relays produced thereafter will have the CCC mark printed on them.Download
09/18/2017E-17-003782 - Product Improvement. Add a second source of glue used to seal pins in base. We intend to use the new glue at least partially by September 18th, 2017 but might both glues alternatively in the future.Download
03/13/2017P-16-013906 - Product improvement. In order to continuous product improvement, we change the printing method on SR4 and SR6 relays from tampo print to laser printing. By that, the printing of especially the small characters is sharper, the change of types in production is easier and faster and the production quantity output can be improved. Furthermore, the production date code can be printed on top also and is therefore easier to read. All data specified in datasheet and approvals keep unchanged.Download
10/03/2016P-16-013250 - Product Improvement. In the course of our continuous improvement process and maintenance of tooling the following slight modifications were done at the base of the relay (see pic s enclosed). By that, molding of piece parts as well as handling within production process will be further improved. These modifications have neither influence on the force guiding characteristics nor electrical and mechanical functions of the relay.Download
07/08/2013P-13-009294 - Product improvement. Reason for the change is, that the current glue is no longer available from supplier. The new glue has different color (light yellow instead of brown/red) but same behavior compared to the previous one, no change of any specification or behavior of the relay.Download
