TE has removed all Class 2 MIL-SPEC references from product labels and literature for the products listed in this PCN( affected products ).Any affected products shipped on or after April 13th,2022 must not be used for applications that specifically require NAVAIR Class 2 qualified product until further notice.The affected products still meet the performance specifications of AS7928 and can continue to be used in commercial applications that do not require NAVAIR Class 2 qualified product.TE Class 1 products remain active on the NAVAIR Class 1 QPL and can continue being used for applications requiring NAVAIR Class 1 qualified product.TE AS7928 Class 2 products were removed from QPL-7928(Class 2) Supplemental Information Sheets for Qualified Products Lists(QPLs), effective April 13, 2022.Since Class 2 parts must be ordered by the manufacturer s standard part number, TE standard package labels indicated both the commercial(standard TE) part number and the applicable MIL-SPEC reference(s).
