MIL-DTL-38999/20 harsh environment connectors, also known as D38999 Series III, feature wall mount receptacles, jam nut receptacles, and straight self-locking RFI plugs. With 9 shell sizes and 54 insert arrangements available, these connectors accommodate various contact sizes including 22D, 20, 16, 12, 10 power, and 8 twinax. Constructed from durable materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and lightweight composite, they offer reliability in demanding conditions. The Electroless Nickel or Electrodeposited Nickel contact plating ensures excellent conductivity, while the removable crimp contacts (contact size 16(2) and 20(37)) facilitate easy installation and maintenance.
