MIL-DTL-38999 III (D38999) harsh environment connectors are rugged and reliable, featuring wall mount receptacles, jam nut receptacles, and straight self-locking RFI plugs. Available in 9 shell sizes and 54 insert arrangements, they accommodate M39029 contacts in various sizes for optimal connectivity. Constructed from durable materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and lightweight composite, these connectors offer excellent performance in demanding conditions. With a wide range of plating options including olive drab cadmium and passivated stainless steel, they ensure corrosion resistance. RoHS-compliant and Boeing BACC-approved options are also available, making them suitable for military and aerospace applications. The MIL-DTL-38999/20MF11BB connector, in particular, is a 19 shell size wall mounting flange receptacle with 11 removable crimp contacts, featuring a conductive composite shell with an electrodeposited nickel finish.
